I found this excellent LiveUser tutorial written by Arnaud Limbourg with the help of many others about using PEAR LiveUser. The article talk about the LiveUser Design, classes with a sample application. Sources are available with the tutorial, it would be a good start if you want to learn about LiveUser package.
